We are working with the Wanganui Women's Network who offer the following range of services to women.
- Confidential pregnancy testing and support/referral service
- Access to adolescent and sexual health services through the Adolescent Rangatahi Clinic days (free for young women from 12 – 25 years).
- Access to the YWCA programmes for young women.
- Referrals and information provided about cervical screening services.
- General community information and referral service
- Community workshops and events
- Free and low cost clothing and household goods
- Free lending library and reference resources.
- Space to feed and change little ones
- Drop-in space for a cuppa or a chat
- Toy area, garden and children’s playground
- Lounge space for use and hire
- Photocopying Service
- Mentoring programme for volunteers
- Assistance provided with CV writing and job applications
- Access to Family Planning education and resources
- Confidential and free counselling service
- Access to Support Groups
