Wanganui YWCA was established in Wanganui in 1939. It has had several locations and today you will find us at 75 St Hill Street, Wanganui (the Women's Rest building).
WE ARE ALWAYS ON THE LOOK OUT FOR Volunteer BOARD MEMBERS
YWCA Wanganui is a small Local Association, we currently are lucky enough to have nine Board 
Members and the Manager.
We are continually seeking enthusiastic women of all ages who are willing to participate in our activites, so we may continue to make a difference for ALL women in Wanganui.
Our Board meets monthly on Mondays at 5.15pm. Because we believe in efficiency we try and keep our meetings to one and a half hours in length.
The Board meeting dates for the rest of 2008 are:
Mon 22 September
Mon 20 October; and
Mon 17 November.
In December we tend to have a Christmas gathering rather than a formal Board meeting.
The YWCA office is in the Women's Rest Building at 75 St Hill Street, next to the Opera House, Wanganui.
