Overhead projector, Small Whiteboard and Projector Screen are also available for your use.
This room has a comfortable lounge like atmosphere, thermally heated and makes a very pleasant venue for meetings, seminars and social functions. Seating is available for 50 people
- If you would like to alter any part of your booking, please enquire at the office.
- If there is a split booking on any one day ie; morning and evening sessions then the room must be returned to its storage layout for the afternoon session, unless prior arrangements have been made at the office. Kitchen facilities, and cups are available. Kitchen facilities DOES NOT include tablecloths, tea towels, serviettes, tea, coffee and sugar.
- Long term or multiple bookings must be arranged at the end of each year for the following year.
HOUSE KEEPING
1. FIRE SAFETY
As Facilitator/Team Leader we ask that you make all participants aware of our Fire Evacuation Procedures. Please point out the following:
- Fire Exit Points
- Assembly Point (Big Pine Tree)
- Manual Call Point (Red Box).
Please note we do not permit the lighting of candles or Incense Burners
2. NOISE
Excess noise is NOT PERMITTED. This room is not suitable for noisy parties, discos or dances as it is attached to a residential Hostel.
3. CLEANING
The room must be left clean unless you have made alternative arrangements with staff ie you have booked the room for more then one day. All tables and chairs should be stacked neatly in their allocated place. Please ensure all windows are closed/latched and the door is locked when you leave.
4. SMOKING
No smoking is permitted in any of the YWCA buildings.
5. ALCOHOL
The setting up of a bar is not permitted, however we have no objection to the odd glass of wine being served.
6. PARKING
There is a number of free parking available
Please note – The Foyer, Office Space and any other YWCA building apart from the Activity Room are not included in the hireage
